Research details
Areas of research interest
This blend pairs two peptides that stimulate growth hormone release through different receptors. Tesamorelin acts on the GHRH receptor and has been studied mainly for visceral fat reduction, while ipamorelin acts on the ghrelin receptor and is studied for its selective GH release. Neither research-grade peptide is for human use, and tesamorelin's approved prescription form is a separate product.
Overview
Each vial contains tesamorelin, a stabilized analogue of full-length GHRH(1-44), and ipamorelin, a selective growth hormone secretagogue. See the individual product pages for each compound's background.
Research summary
Combination data. No published study has tested this specific combination.
Component research. In a 26-week trial of 412 HIV patients, tesamorelin reduced visceral fat by 15.2% and raised IGF-1 by 81% [1]. Ipamorelin released GH without raising ACTH or cortisol, even at doses 200 times above its effective GH dose [2].
